a relations truck took out a deer. bought all rust free straight parts from the junk yard. took the truck apart being careful to mark where things came from. put everything back and had a friend help hold the fenders in place and line them up properly while thightening everything down. the problem i have is that the bottoms of the doors hit the bottom of the new fenders. there was some slop in the hinges so i replaced the pins and bushings. doors swing now without droping. readjsted the fenders and tightened back down. returned the truck. truck was brought back two weeks later for the doors hitting the bottoms of the fenders. readjusted again and held onto the truck using it as mine for a week to observe. after the week there was noticible shift in the fenders closing the gap at the bottom. i havent done much body work before so i may have overlooed something.
91 f150
it was a 9 pointer and did a lot of damage to the truck. this is what i replaced.
rt and lf inner and outer fenders
hood
grille
lights
center support
filler pannel
passenger door (not as a result of the deer needed to be replaced so did it then)
center support didn not need to be replaced because of the deer was rusted from old age
