Mike S asked:

I have an 01 chevy Cavalier that needs a front pipe so Midas seys. Its 529.00 for that pipe. I have limited funds right now, like alot of folks with babies and holiday stuff. I was told by another dealer that he could put a flex pipe on this front pipe. The converter seems to be ok. How is this done. Hard job for entry level mechanic? What should I expect to pay for this flex pipe? I also need strap that holds muffler on and it seems that it is attached to side of muffler. Is this a junk yard item or auto parts store. Its a strap that hold muffler in place! Please help me if you can. Thanks in advance!!

Mysticamom asked:

I believe that the name is – Auto Shut Off Relay – so far no auto shops or junk yards have understood what I am asking for.Is there another name for this part. Our van shuts off on its own while running, we have already changed the computer – distributor cap – Plugs and wires- fuel pump and fuel filter-and ignition coil. The car will start back up if we leave the Acc on and unhook the computer. We could use any help on this, but please if all your going to say is why we changed all those parts, my GodSon does his own work, and this Van is wonderful but it has alot of miles so it was worth the price for the new parts, however we can not afford to take it to a mechanic. We are just asking a question? Thank You
